Qualification Requirements

Not every LA home qualifies — here is what we look at

We review your property, electric utility bill, and roof condition to confirm whether a $0 Down PPA is the right fit.

1. Electricity Usage

Your average monthly LADWP or SCE bill helps size the system correctly for maximum baseline solar generation.

2. Roof Condition & Age

A structurally sound roof (generally under 15–20 years old) ensures stable installation for 25 years.

3. Sunlight Access

Adequate unshaded sun exposure on south or west facing roof planes in Los Angeles.

4. Utility Grid Approval

LADWP or SCE interconnection approval according to local circuit grid capacity.

5. Soft Credit Check

A soft credit review (generally 620+ score guideline) with no hard inquiry hit to your credit score.

6. Homeownership Status

Must be the recorded owner of the single-family home, townhouse, or qualifying residential property.

Optional Battery Storage Upgrade

Keep power on during LA heatwaves & grid outages

Pair your $0 Down PPA solar system with optional home battery backup. Store excess solar energy during sunny daytime hours and power essential appliances when the grid goes down.
